Is it genuinely natural?
We read the full ingredient list, beyond the front-of-pack claims – and we ask the brand to explain anything we’re unfamiliar with.

Have we used it ourselves?
Products are only added to The Edit after weeks of private use by at least one of us first.

Would we buy it again?
The simplest test, and the one we trust the most.
